My favorite food is is a traditional Chinese food that people usually eat at the spring festival.If you want to make it, you should first prepare some flour and meat. First, mix water in the flour. Second, use your hands to make it into a dough. Third, make the dough into small and thin pieces. Fourth, put the meat on the pieces and make dunmplings. Then cook them in boiling , you can have the delicious dumplings.

My first cooking experience was nowhere near as successful. I was about six the first time I ‘helped in the kitchen, I remember I was given a bunch of leafy green veggies to wash. They gave me a big bowl of water and I crouched on the floor in the kitchen diligently washing everything.
Once everything was clean it was time to dry off the veggies, I gathered them all up in my little hands and started to wring them dry. Just like how Id seen my parents do with wet towels. I was doing a pretty good job – the water started to turn green.
And then my grandmother noticed…
After that everything became a bit of a blur, there was a lot of yelling and finger pointing and I was promptly kicked out of the kitchen. Grandmother was not pleased. I was very confused.
Clearly not the greatest start in the kitchen, but I think I get extra points for effort! What do you remember about your first cooking experience
