楼上英语老师的说法怕是不能让人信服吧。今天刚巧遇到这个问题，研究了一下，以下是我个人的看法。
确实会见到介词后加副词的某些特别情况。通常情况下介词后是不可以加副词来充当宾语的，但是像since then，还有题主说的这些短语，我反复查了牛津高阶，确实是这样一个用法。我觉得当成是固定搭配记住就好了，不会遇到非常多。
