英语中，数字表达都含有数学的成分，基数词，序数词，也是根据数学的概念规定的，百和十之间用and连接也是和数学有关，例如223英语中就是两个百和23合起来的，two hundred and twenty-three，这符合数学的概念，挺好的，在学语言的同时理解了数学的含义。

数字加不加and？

英式英语中百位数和十位数之间要加and，美式英语往往会省略，所以两种都可以。
建议在需要精确表达的场合加 and。
如果没有十位数有个位数，百位和个位之and。
①. 101—999： 先说“几百”，再加and，再加末尾两位数或末位数：

②. 1，000以上的词：

个数基数词形式加“hundred”，表示几百，在几十几与百位间加上and．比如，
